Prospect Meadows Sports Complex is gearing up for one of its biggest events of the summer… the 2025 Perfect Game Battle for the Midwest! From July 24–28, the fields will be packed with talent as 88 teams from across the region and beyond arrive in Marion, Iowa, to compete in this premier youth baseball showdown.

Split into two divisions, the tournament features 28 teams in the 16U division and a massive 60-team bracket in the 17U division. Across both divisions, a total of 186 games will be played over five days. Hosted exclusively at Prospect Meadows, this event showcases some of the top up-and-coming baseball players in the country and is a major stop on the Perfect Game summer calendar.

For Prospect Meadows, the Battle for the Midwest is more than just a tournament; it’s a celebration of youth sports and community. Local businesses benefit from the influx of visitors, and families from across the Midwest can experience world-class facilities and small-town hospitality.

With five full days of games, scouts, and competitive action, the Battle for the Midwest promises excitement from the first pitch to the championship trophy. Games will run throughout the day on all fields, and fans are encouraged to come out and enjoy the atmosphere, concessions, and quality baseball. Admission is $15 per day, with a discounted rate of $7 for military/seniors. A $55 weekend pass can be purchased on the first day of the tournament only. Children 14 and under can attend for free.
