Third Annual Strike Out the Stigma a Success

Prospect Meadows was pleased to help support Strike Out the Stigma for the second year on May 6. Ten baseball and six softball teams from Eastern Iowa participated in scrimmages at the complex. Approximately 1,300 people came through the gates for the evening.

Players and spectators alike learned about resources for mental health with area providers set up in booths at the complex. A silent auction and donations helped raise funds to support efforts to combat youth mental crises. Iowa Women’s Basketball stars, Hannah Stuelke and Syd Affolter, were present to sign autographs.

Prospect Meadows is proud to partner with other nonprofit organizations to raise funds and awareness for their important causes. Congratulations to Strike Out the Stigma for another great event!
